A Celebration Of The Marstons Mills River
______________________________________________

Great Turnout for River Day 2002!
It was a perfect day beside the Mill Pond where an estimated 600 people attended River Day on May 5th. Many, many families not only enjoyed the day and the great cooking of the Liberty Hall Club, but also learned more about the fragile environment of the river and how it is depending upon all of us for its survival.

The village of Marstons Mills owes thanks to the dozens who worked that day to bring us this event and to all of the generous sponsors as well. Without their efforts and support, this day could not have happened.

And special thanks go to Kris Clark, coordinator of the River Day program, to Lynne Dowdall of the Cape Cod Conservation District and to Donna Lawson of the Marstons Mills Village Association. These ladies spent hundreds of hours behind the scenes working to make this day a success.
