So come on down for “Village Day” and then come see us to “CHOW DOWN “ at 4:00 pm.</div> <bR> <div> <B>AND WE NEED SOME HELP !!!</B></div> <div> Lots of member participation is going to be needed on the day of, and probably the day before the B~B~Q , so whomever wants to help out, let either Bob or Charlie or Al Baker know in advance, or come to the E-Board meeting on September 3rd.</div> <bR> <div> <B>NOW THAT SUMMER IS OVER ...</B></div> <div> Well guys, we are looking into <I>possibly </I>getting some A C throughout the whole building !! Yes there may be an <I>outside chance </I>of getting a Central AC and Heat Unit hooked up to “Liberty Hall”.</div> <bR> <div> How cool would that be?? We will keep you all informed as time goes by.</div> <bR> <div> <B>BETTER TV COMING SOON</B></div> <div> And here is a piece of good news .We are getting an Upgrade to the Cable system hookup in Liberty Hall...</div> <bR> <div> Rather than having just the <I>Basic Plan</I> , we are going for the  <I>Expanded Plan</I>, so as to get a few more channels..like ESPN and a few others. How COOL will that be??? </div> <bR> <div> We should have the upgrade by the time you get this Newsletter! !</div> <bR> <div> <B>WORK DAY</B></div> <div> There is going to be another work day around the Club on October 4th. We have to finish the roof on the back of the building that we had to open up a few months back, to find a leak . </div> <bR> <div> And then there's the rooms downstairs that we need to work on .It has been<I> </I><I>too</I><I> </I>long since a REAL good cleaning has been done in those rooms and it is really starting to look BAD!!</div> <bR> <div> So we will work on those areas on the same day so that we can utilize the rooms the way they were meant to be used. </div> <bR> <div> <B>CLUB PHOTO ALBUM</B></div> <div> Well we are still looking for more pictures that anybody has of the past, whether they be of different functions we have held, or of the various renovations that has been done to Liberty Hall or just pictures of past and present members being who they are!!!</div> <bR> <div> We're off to a slow start on this [see <A HREF="id301.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Liberty Hall Club Photo Album Thumbnai"><U>here</U></A>], but that's because no one has submitted pictures...</div> <bR> <div> <B>FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE CLUB:</B></div> <div> The Club is in the process of putting together a photo book of “YESTERYEAR”, so that we, and others can look back and “remember when”.</div> <bR> <div> It will be like taking a stroll down memory lane with a chuckle or two about different past and present members and events. And also when the Club Secretary reads minutes from 20, 30 and 50 years ago [as is done at each and every monthly meeting] newer members [some who were not even born yet] will be able to put a face to a name.</div> <bR> <div> I guess some new members, and some of the older members might call it <I><B>History of the Men's Club. </B></I>So if you got pictures we want `em, and if you want we will make a copy of the pictures and give them back to you!!</div> <bR> <div> Contact Charlie Thifault if you have pictures to share with the club.
