Wanted
The Club is looking for a donation of 6 squares of shingles so that our members can redo the front of the Liberty Hall building.
We take great pride in our building, and Village, and want to keep it looking first-rate.
Thanks
The Club wishes to thank Steve Orlando for his very generous donation of an American Flag for our recently erected flagpole.
We greatly appreciate this gesture Steve.
Area Notes
On Tuesday the 21st of May at 4:30 PM the Daisy's will be reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at the site of the new flagpole on the Liberty Hall Club grounds.
They also will be planting flowers around the property.
The COMM fire district is voting for officers on Monday May 20th and the District meeting on Tuesday May 21st will be for the vote on the new fire hall in Marstons Mills.
Club Happenings
The club was well represented on River Day by our gourmet chefs Bob, Bub, Dick, Frank, and Charlie who manned two grills of dogs and burgers and had the crowd coming back for more. With Al's assistance they also set up tables and chairs for the function. We also would like to thank the anonymous donor who lent us his grill for the day.
Ron has hooked up a light to shine on the flagpole so that the flag will be able to fly day and night.
The room downstairs is near completion. Painting and the ceiling remain to be done.
