Call To Order And Welcoming Remarks
 The President called the meeting to order at 6:?? PM.
Minutes Of Last Meeting
Were accepted.
Treasurer's Report
 Was accepted. Robert Trout notes several upcoming expenses including the cost of the newsletter and scholarships to be awarded. The library will be billed $150 for their insert after discussion of how to split the newsletter costs with the Library.
Town Council Report
 Janice Barton reported work on the budget is ongoing. She notes the schedule is available online at the town’s website. Bob Frazee inquires as to when the funding for the barn roof will be coming up. Janice says it will most likely be on May 11th. She notes all the road expenditures have been passed and the Town is looking for input into where speed-calming measures would be appropriate on the roads. Craig Larson applauded the passage of funding for school maintenance. Janice notes the funding for the wind turbine to help generate power at the Barnstable High School has also been passed. Bob Frazee recommended the online minutes of the Town meetings as a tool to keep abreast of the budget items.
Old Business And Announcements
 Debbie Lavoie notes that the people camping on the conservation lands have been removed. Sounds like a camp-out of some residents rather than people without homes to go to.
 Ann Trout reported the Gateway fundraiser will not need the Burgess House for the yard sale this spring, but may still be interested in it for the fall. .

Subcommittee Reports
Burgess House: Still awaiting go ahead for funding from the Town. (See counselors report.) Al Baker will check when we are on the agenda and it appears it is now up to John Klimm to make the next move in getting the money. Will be trying to met with Mr. Anthony re planning for repairs.
River Day: May 21st. Tenth anniversary. Ice cream and insurance are both set .
Village Day: Sept 10th. Three sponsors have been found for the race so far. The division of labor discussed at the last meeting is working well. Maybe a parade with the high school band featured or maybe just with their playing featured? Robert Trout will check into this .
Membership: Going to mail out to the list for renewals. List of members given to Craig for mailing. Robert Trout to generate the envelopes. Craig or Al to see if the Cape Cod Times might give us some press to coordinate with the mailing .
Newsletter: Congratulations on the newsletter. Another is expected in late summer .
Scholarship: Two scholarships will be awarded at the next meeting. (Annual Meeting) .
Local Comprehensive Plan: There is a question on whether there is amending going on at the town. Craig or Al will check this out .
Herring Run: The herring are running and the counts are low so far .
Library: Working on an insert with the newsletter .
New Business
 Emory Anderson: The Indian Ponds Association announced that the study on Mystic Lake’s phosphorus problem is finished and the lake will likely need an alum treatment. They are hoping the town will help fund this. Also planning a purple loosestrife eradication effort this spring. Also, there will be an effort to round up floating derelict rafts, etc, this spring..
