Town Council Report
Janice Barton and Hank Farnham reported the Town funded the roof on the Burgess House Barn. Craig Larson noted that more funding would eventually be needed. Hank encourages the Board to submit a master plan of ongoing projects for consideration. Bob Frazee noted he anticipates ongoing coordination with the Town.
Jan Barton reported the ordinance to relieve overcrowding within houses has passed.
And, that the affordable housing overlay district proposal is coming up soon for review. Craig asked how this proposal differed from the previous proposal. Jan noted it is similar except for more of a window for review of plans submitted. Craig noted that there were concerns whether this proposal even now has sufficient limits on the areas under consideration for this plan. Bob Frazee noted that the LCP may be a starting place for guidance in what areas are most appropriate.
Jan notes the Town now has a “No Place for Hate” designation.
The Town will soon meet to consider renovation of the windmill on the Airfield.
Hank notes that the evolution of the LCP is ongoing and we may want to revisit the LCP in our village
Old Business And Announcements
Debbie Lavoie notes that Chris Azziz is coordinating the Jimmy Fund Fundraiser for the Stop and Shop again. She encourages individuals to give. She suggests that we sponsor an hour in matching funds to a maximum of $100. This was voted and passed unanimously.

Subcommittee Reports
Burgess House: No news.
River Day: Still gathering receipts. Anticipates about $500. Volume was less than last year, however, there were several competing events that day .
Village Day: Sept 10th. Permitting is done. We have a tentative theme of “M” and looking in to various events featuring this letter. Discussed music would be appropriate and fun. The conservatory and the schools may be able to give us some performers. The road race has several sponsors on board and looks to be self-sufficient. Bob Trout is going to look into scheduling the ponies .
Membership: Have received 26 renewals and 11 new . Bob Frazee wonders about hooking in to other local organizations’ lists. This has been tried in the past but not for some time. Will need a draft of a letter
Newsletter: Costs of $770 to print and $530 to mail . The library had paid $150 for their insert.
Scholarship: Two scholarships were awarded of $500 each. One to Jesse Lacasse and one to Alyson Ainsworth .
Local Comprehensive Plan: Hank says there will be some reorganization of the LCP to make it more uniform throughout the villages .
Herring Run: No news .
Library: No news .

Jesse Lacasse was awarded a scholarship.
Donna Lawson reports that the pole at the community gardens will need to be replaced with a cement anchor. She will see what the town recommends.
