And, the deletion of the 6C end of the sentence after funding.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Treasurer's Report</B></div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Was accepted.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Public Comment</B></div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">None.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Correspondence</B></div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">It was decided not to donate to a student’s travels in Europe.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">The Jane Eshbaugh (community service award) letter was passed around and Debbie and Donna will see if they can fill it out for Al Baker. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Town Council Report</B></div> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Janice Barton: </B></div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">It is budget planning season on the Council.  Lots of work is in progress.  The budget will include a capital outlay for care of the Ponds, including the Mill Pond and Mystic Lake. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">She notes that there was a proposal to consolidate the community elementary schools by closing Cotuit and Marstons Mills, and combining their students’ with those of MME. Janice reassures those present that this is only an early proposal, and that much community input will be sought before anything definite is done. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">The Danforth Property is being considered for a dedication that restricts the use of the land for passive recreation except in areas with more active development already present.  They are also considering proposals to clear up the walking trails and also repair the windmill.  Leah (head of committee) would welcome more people to serve on the committee guiding this. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Old Business And Announcements</B></div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">None.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Invited Speaker/Public Forum</B></div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">None.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Subcommittee Reports</B></div> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Burgess House:</B> There is a letter of intent at the CPC.  The Friends note there is a leak in the water supply to the barn – this is now turned off.  They have a couple of requests.  1) They would like to use the building for retreats a couple of times a year.  2) They would like to use the house one evening a month. 3) They have donated a used canister vacuum (yea!).  After discussion all were approved.</div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">River Day:</B> May 20, 2007. Meeting is coming up.  There will be water testing at the Mill Pond and MMVA will have a table at the event.  Seeking volunteers</div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Village Day:</B> September 9, 2007.  Debbie and Donna discussed their visit to Liberty Hall.   The Hall will be moving their chicken dinner to outside the Hall and not change the times.  They would like to have live music later in the day to segue into the dinner.  They are looking for a band</div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Membership:</B> No new. Will be making a new letter up for mailing.  Kevin will be getting the list, Debbie updating the letter, and Peter will do the folding.</div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Newsletter:</B> Jacques Morin will be editing the Newsletter!   Thank you!!  Craig, Debbie and Donna will be responsible to drumming up the content.  Kevin will try to make up an insert.  Robert Trout will be writing on the scholarship, and Bob Frazee on the Visionary Plan.</div> <bR> <div> <B><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Wing0a7300a800c811111100.png" HEIGHT="13" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Scholarship:</B> Two scholarships of $750 are to be given this year at the annual meeting.
